Price that reflects the rock, not the relay
Because we buy at the source and process in-house, your landed cost is built from raw material, conversion and freight — not four layers of someone else's markup.
Pakistan Salt Range → United States
Most US importers sit four handshakes from the source. Salt King doesn't — we hold direct access to the Salt Range and run our own processing outside Lahore. One margin, one point of accountability, and full control of grain size, grade and packaging.
01 — The structural advantage
The pink salt trade is crowded with middlemen. A block leaves the Salt Range, passes through a local trader, a consolidator, an exporter and a US importer before it reaches a brand. Each stop adds margin — and removes your ability to control what's actually in the box.
Because we buy at the source and process in-house, your landed cost is built from raw material, conversion and freight — not four layers of someone else's markup.
Grain size, colour grade, moisture, block dimensions, drill pattern, packaging weight. When you own the processing line, "custom" is a setting — not a special order.
Short chains fail less, and when they do, they're fixable. No triangulating between a broker in Karachi and a warehouse in New Jersey.
02 — Product range
Raw block through finished retail unit. Most first orders are a mixed 20ft container across two or three lines — it's the cheapest way to test more than one category at once.
C1Salt rooms and salt caves end to end — wall brick, floor salt, backlit panels, and micronised salt graded for halogenerator use.
C2Brick, backlit tile, wall panel and sculptural pieces cut to drawing — for hospitality fit-outs, retail interiors and residential feature walls.
C3Natural lick blocks and compressed mineral blocks for cattle, horses, sheep, goats and wildlife feeders. Roped, drilled or plain.
C4Retail-ready wellness SKUs — salt inhalers, neti pots, massage stones, bath soaks and diffuser lamps, packed for shelf or DTC.
C5Foodservice and food-manufacturing volumes in bulk sacks and totes. Consistent granulometry batch to batch, with lot traceability.
C6Shelf-ready consumer packs — grinders, glass jars, refill pouches and gift tubes. Your artwork, your carton, our line.
C7Grilling and cooking slabs, serving plates, salt bowls, candle stands and boxed gift sets — the highest margin-per-kilo line we ship.
If it can be cut, ground, moulded or drilled from rock salt, we can quote it. Send a drawing or a photo — a sample piece usually follows within a couple of weeks.
Send us the spec03 — Specification & logistics
Product cost is rarely what kills a salt program — freight is. We quote landed, not FOB-and-good-luck, and we build load plans against real payload limits so nothing gets stranded at the port.
A 20ft dry container will physically take on the order of 28 MT of dense salt — but a legal US road move usually caps out nearer 19–21 MT once chassis and axle limits are counted. Plan against the container and you get an overweight surprise at the terminal. We plan against both.
Figures are planning-grade rules of thumb. Your broker and drayage carrier confirm the number that actually applies to your lane.
Tariff classification, food-contact compliance and feed registration are research inputs, not legal advice. A licensed customs broker and, for edible or feed lines, a food-safety advisor should confirm before money moves.
04 — Certifications
Retail buyers, foodservice distributors and feed programs all gate on documentation before they gate on price. Salt King holds internationally recognised certification across sourcing, processing and packaging.
Processing and packing run from our facility at 20 km Ferozpur Road, near Stahlco Factory, Lahore — the same address printed on our HACCP certificate. Buyers are welcome to audit it, send a third-party inspector, or ask for line video before a first container ships.
The certified scope covers manufacturing, processing, packing and export of edible salt, craft salt and spa-line salt. The full document pack goes out with every quote.

Category, rough volume, destination and timeline. Two minutes in the form below is enough to start.
We come back with grain/grade options, packaging, a load plan and pricing at the incoterm you asked for — plus the certificate pack.
Physical samples by courier, or a part-container trial before you commit to a full program.
Production against your approved spec, documents prepared, container booked, tracking shared through to arrival.
06 — Request a quote
Three short steps. No account, no newsletter, no call centre — a real reply from the people who run the line.
07 — Straight answers
It depends on the line. Kitchen accessories and wellness SKUs move in pallet quantities; edible bulk and lick blocks are priced properly at container volume, because freight per kilo is what makes or breaks those categories. Tell us the volume band in the form and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth shipping.
Yes — and you should. Physical samples by courier for retail and accessory lines, or a part-container trial for bulk. Nobody should commit to a container of salt they haven't held.
Yes. Your artwork on jars, grinders, pouches, cartons and inner packs. Send print-ready files or a rough concept — we'll come back with a dieline and a packed sample.
Edible salt entering the US involves FDA facility registration, prior notice on shipments, and correct HTS classification. We hold FDA registration and prepare the standard document pack. What we won't do is give you legal advice — misclassification is expensive, so a licensed customs broker should confirm the tariff line for your specific product before you commit.
Yes, but treat it as a separate problem — the US is our main market and Canada runs on different rules. Livestock lick salt goes through one national CFIA regime rather than fifty state registrations, which makes Canada easier for feed. Retail is harder: table salt must be iodized, and labelling must be bilingual English/French with additional Quebec requirements. A US label, a US feed registration and a US electrical listing none of them carry over.
We hold direct access to the Salt Range and run our own processing near Lahore. That's the whole basis of this business — we're upstream of the traders most US importers buy through, which is why our pricing and our spec control look different.
Come and see it, send a third-party inspector, or ask for line video and batch photos. Facility is at 20 km Ferozpur Road, near Stahlco Factory, Lahore.
Terms are agreed per program and depend on volume, history and incoterm — L/C, T/T against documents and staged deposits are all normal in this trade. We'll put the specific terms in writing with your quote.
Tell us the category and the volume. You'll have a real quote, a certificate pack and a sample plan inside a business day.
